Park City's 'Idle-Free City' Resolution The City Council in Park City passed an 'Idle-Free City' resolution on Nov. 19th, 2009. The resolution is meant to encourage awareness around unnecessary vehicle idling and the associated environmental, health, and financial costs. Special thanks goes out to Clean Air Park City for garnering public support of the resolution and working with the City on enacting this positive change!

Check out a copy of the resolution here:

RE:Park City's 'Idle-Free City' Resolution Hey- do you know where I can get those cool "idle free" posters that I've seen around town? I want to hang one at the property management company where I live. Tis the season for idling, it seems, with taxis everywhere:(

RE:Park City's 'Idle-Free City' Resolution I'd like to hang one at our neighborhood's mail hut.

Also, I'm trying to word a letter to the new school at our house so that the 400+ cars that make two round trips a day aren't idling while picking up and dropping off kids. Thanks for the link, Tyler.

RE:Park City's 'Idle-Free City' Resolution Hi Katie,

Clean Air Park City has been hanging those posters. I know they are still looking for locations in Park City and Summit County to post them, contact them through their website to get one for the property management location near you.

RE:Park City's 'Idle-Free City' Resolution I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the rules are for the local police dept and idling? I'm just wondering if there are any regulations?

Thanks!
Dana
